I had just gotten home from covering Briant Rodriguez and was monitoring the latest on the fire in Santa Barbara, when Greta called. Here is day two!

That was a nice video. Will you really take guitar lessons?

  2. Greta may wonder about the guitar, but I’d rather hear about the telescope that is obviously been placed ( just for this video) in an upward position as if you were interested in perusing far away galaxies…………..I say it’s more inclined to be used to scope the ” moons ” at the pool below.
At least that’s what I mainly used mine for……..Yes, Iv’e read “Ball Four” too. LOL

  3. Here’s a link describing the Sundowner Winds they talk about in the video. Sounds like Adam may have a busy season coming up.

  4. Sylvia Says:

My husband has a telescope….He only looks at the sky with it!!!!

  5. “morning!

    John…funny about the telescope!

KC…are you out of harms way with those fires??

  6. Max Kon Says:

    Adam: Nice place!

  7. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommies 🙂

  8. Sylvia Says:

Thanks and same to you and all the other mothers on this blog.

  9. Hope all the other mom’s here have a great Mother’s Day.

  10. Ok, I finally got all the pics rounded up.
Under my name, the hallway’s before and afters.

    Thanks Barb and Sylvia!

  11. Patty,
Great job. It looks wonderful. Are you and Pat for hire? I need some painting done.

BTW…Larry discovered the deer love rose bushes. He planted 2 on Friday outside the fence, and by Saturday morning they were already chewed down about 1/3 of the way. So he dug them up and put them inside the pool fence. He planted the tomatoes in the topsy turvy pots, and put some herb plants in a big pot. His radishes have been great. Larry has always loved gardening. I love the results of his labor!!!

  12. Sylvia…in a word, NO!

  13. Patty,
    Is that your final answer????

  14. Good Morning All,

    Is anyone else awake?

  15. ‘morning.
    ugh, its monday.

  16. ((wave; smile))

    g’morning All!

  17. *waves back*
    ugh, its still monday!

  18. @Patty

If it helps, I can tell you that Tuesday doesn’t look too bad. ‘Course, it being about 0100hrs Tues (here), there is still time for it to lose its luster…

  19. I know it’s Monday, but the rain stopped and the sun came out and now it’s a nice day.

  20. Funny! I need that giggle.
Its a pretty day here too.
Sinus’s are kicking my butt. No doubt allergy..of something. If i had central a/c, i’d close the house up, but that really isn’t a option. Argh, my face feels like it will “fall off”.

Have a meeting this afternoon, after asking a few questions, seems the funeral homes, the hospital personell and the midwest donor network, have never really “talked”…I decided it was high time they did!! SO many misunderstandings that need to be aired out. Should be an interesting meeting to try to get everyone on the same page. Amazing, we’ve been involved for 6 years and took it for granted they all communicated….DUH! Hopefully this will open the lines of communication!!

  21. Hope all had a nice Mommy’s Day–

great videos Adam– and tell your buddy Guy from Food Network thank you as he did his rounds on diners in the USA– and apparently he hit my brother’s diner at Bainbridge Island, Washington, as their diner came on the network twice- a couple weeks ago– and because of this they have had a booming business– yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My niece works on the week-ends there as a waitress and on a five hour shift she makes close to $300.00— not bad for an 18 year old!!!

Hi LDG— AND xxx to you! and Max–

    John– you are too funny!!!!

    Patty– your house looks awesome!!!!

the fires in Santa Barbara– caused by someone being careless– AGAIN!

    Adam playing the guitar? wowie!!!

  22. I like your condo, Adam– cozy!!! not pretentious! congrats on the awards for your writing!

  23. Susan, thanks!
    Is your tooth better??

  24. Adam Housley Says:

HEY EVERYONE! I took a couple of days to catch up on a few things. AND…the desert pictures are now posted!
I hope everyone is well. It was a busy couple of weeks with the swine flu and Briant coverage. Unfortunately, still no word on that little boy. 😦
