4 seamer huh??? I thought those were called stitches (big grin)
It is obvious you guys have a lot of fun

Awesome video- nice to have something to smile about these days – THANKS

  2. Max Kon Says:

So few people seem to understand that most of one’s limb power (for kicking, throwing, punching etc) does not come from the limb itself, but mostly from the core. Twisting gives you so much more momentum.

Adam, do you know what is the fastest you could throw?

  3. Sylvia Says:

That was a fun video. I’m glad I don’t have to throw a ball while thousands of people are watching.

  4. Adam………….The Nats are coming your way for a west coast road trip this weekend. I hope you get to catch a game or two and watch your second favorite team. If you do, bring this video and show it to the guys in the bullpen……..they need all the help they can get. Between you and our MASN TV color guy, Rob Dibble, I think we can lower their ERA back into double figures………LOL.

  5. Sylvia Says:

    John,
Did Rob Dibble play for the Reds?

  6. KC - Fresno, Ca. Says:

    Patty

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUUUUUUU

Wishing you a day filled with happiness, laughter, and lots of cake and ice cream

  7. Sylvia Says:

    Patty,
I just saw KC’s post so I want to wish you a very happy birthday also.

KC….do you keep a list of everyone’s birthdays?

  8. KC - Fresno, Ca. Says:

    Sylvia
I have a personal secretary that does that for me (grinning)

    Good morning all

  9. @Patty

    Hippo Birdy two Ewes

    🙂

  10. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO PATTY, Have a great day and make it “all about you”

  11. KC - Fresno, Ca. Says:

Well, we have a big fire happening now in Santa Barbara – 1000 homes have already be evacuated and schools have been closed. Way to early in the season for this to be happening.

Hopefully, Adam will not have to cover this one, as he is reporting live every hour on the little boy that was kidnapped.

    Susan
Adam was wearing my “favorite” lavender shirt and tie this morning with a dark suit. Way cool!! Hubby was laughing at me while I was droooooling in front of the tele.

  12. Sylvia Says:

    KC…….drooling??????? LOL.

  13. KC…*handing you a paper towel*!! *LOL*

Thanks for the Birthday wishes everyone!!
LOOK ^ LDG made a smiley just for me!!!!!!!!
(and i’ll bet he thought i wouldnt notice!)

  14. Sylvia…………Yes, Rob Dibble played for the Reds in the late 1980’s through the early 90’s as a mid-relief and closing pitcher. He threw 100+ mph fastballs as his specialty and is one of about 20 pitchers in major league baseball history that hold the record of a nine pitch/three strike out inning. He now does color commentary for the Nationals games and is quite a character……….but he does know his baseball and is very good at explaining the intricacies of the game.

  15. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Patty…………..How many 29th celebrations does this make now?

  16. 19x’s John!!! *L* 🙂

  17. Sylvia Says:

    John,
I thought that name sounded familiar. Dibble had a terrible temper and got into trouble often. He was on the World Series champion team along with my former neighbor Todd Benzinger. I got to see the beautiful ring the players received for winning the World Series. Actually, I got to try it on….would have loved to have kept it!!!!. My husband, daughter, and I got to go to a few Reds regular season games and sit with the players families thanks to Todd. Those were the glory days of the Reds.

  18. Adam Housley Says:

    John-
Not sure if I can help, they need a lot more than me! 🙂 Man Dibble…doesn’t seem so long ago. He was part of the famed ‘Nast Boys’.

    Happy Birthday Patty!

    Adam

  19. Thank Adam!

    ‘morning everyone.

  20. “and now the truth”

Im surprised at greta learning to throw a baseball but more than likely because she did’nt reach homeplate when throwing out the first pitch at a recent game. She will more than likely be a lot better tv commentator than a baseball player. lol. Anyway, i would’nt want to be standing in front of her when she throws.Just jokin!! i bet she will learn fast how to be a big league pitcher.Who knows, she may get drafted by the YANKEES!!!

  21. How long does it take to maderate a message-three days!!!

  22. “I WAS JUST THINKING-YEA I KNOW THATS DANGEROUS”!!

But greta sure turns up in the strangest places. You never know where she will be next.At times, I wonder if she ever sleeps or gets any rest.If you wonder where she will be next, just think of a place and shes either been there,or, on her way, or, just leaving. lol.
as far as this BLOG-You did a great job and its very professional and has a great mixed bag of nice links. Of course, I’ll be on gretas blog, but i will be dropping in from time to time.Good luck to you!
